FAQ's

What will the players be doing when not on the ice?

Our off ice hockey consists of a specific summer conditioning program. The program will consist of daily fitness and dryland training. All players will be put through hockey specific fitness testing to determine their strengths and weakness which aid us and them in an individual program design to develop through out the season. Individual and group recreation will also consist of baseball, flags, soccer and other fun activities.

What skills will the players be working on when on the ice?

Our skills development program features innovative passing drills, powerskating, power shooting, and creative stick handling.  At the PeeWee and Bantam level we also focus on body-checking instruction, showing how to give and take a body-check. We will demonstrate the dangers of checking along the boards and help players to better understand preventative ways to avoid serious injury as a result of giving or receiving body-checks.
